The St.Xavier’s Group has an ideal hierarchical system with the Managing Director at the apex and Board of Directors to deal with (i) Personnel & Administration (II) Finance and (iii) Academics. The whole of the hierarchy is governed by the St.Xaviear’s Education and Charitable Trust, a trust constituted and registered under the Trust Registration Act to Function as a decision making body and the decision so taken are implemented and executed by the group. The trust establishes link with different other Trust set up in different localities of different States to run the component units of the Group, i.e. St.Xavier’s High schools under them.
Role of Corporate Office
The Corporate Office of the Group issues directives to all the unit schools in the country, so that strong academic uniformity is maintained in matters of Admission policy, introduction of books and copies, conducting examinations, setting of questions for CBSE,ICSE and State Board curriculums, issue of diaries, Calendars, syllabus and school uniform etc. Secondly it deals with advertisement, recruitment of teaching / non-teaching staff, promotion, increment and incentives, orientation programmes for staff and so on.
Thirdly, the Corporate office organizes Inter Xavier Talent Competitions, Inter Xavier sports Meets in different Group schools, so as to develop sound interaction system among students.
The corporate office also conducts or causes to conduct numerous activities in the Group Schools and Annual functions as per prescribed norms.
Lastly, the corporate office takes the responsibility of publication of magazines ( The Xavierian ), News letters ( The Sizzler ) and other periodicals from time to time.
