Mothers' Day Celebration

MOTHERS' DAY CELEBRATION

"God could not be everywhere so He created Mothers."

Once again, the entire school came together on 14.05.2018 to celebrate Mothers' Day in a wonderful assembly organized by the students of Yamuna House.

The programme began with an inspiring speech by Raj Vats followed by a beautiful poem on "Maa" by Shubham Sarthak. The students of the primary wing recited a melodious poem in their sweet voice. A dance was also performed collectively by the students of both the senior and the primary wing.

Then there was a stand-up act by Riya with a wonderful narration by Navni showing the pains of an orphan which left everyone in awe. Vishwajeet performed a melodious solo song.

At the end, the female teachers of the school were honoured with cards made by the students as mark of respect for their motherly care which they bestow upon the children.

Then the principal of the school, Dr. N. Santhosh Kumar, motivated the crowd not to be rude with their mothers and always listen to what the mothers say because she would never want her children to suffer in any ways.

Excellent result in JEE-MAINS, 2018

Students of St. Xavier's High School, Deoghar Shine in JEE-MAINS, 2018

The students of SXHS, Deoghar came out with flying colours in JEE-MAINS, 2018 conducted by CBSE.

Like last year, this year too, the students performed excellently in JEE-MAINS and added feathers to their caps bringing laurels to the school.

Among the successful students, Satyam Kumar, Rahul Kumar, Yuvraj Singh and Luv Kumar performed exceptionally well making the school proud of their achievement.

On this occasion, the Principal, Dr. N. Santhosh Kumar, expressed his delight and congratulated the students and their parents. He also wished them luck for JEE-ADVANCED. He said that it is indeed a moment which will be cherished by the entire family of St. Xavier's High School, Deoghar.

May Day Celebration

Today on the occasion of May Day (Labour Day), the members of Ganga House presented an informative assembly.

The celebration began with speech by Shubham and Parvati of Class IX C. Thereafter, Arya of Class IX B presented a poem in Hindi depicting the importance of helpers in our lives.

The celebration was carried further by a dance cum skit by students of Classes I to X.

The Principal, Dr. N. Santhosh Kumar, then honoured the helpers for their service to the school. The celebration concluded with the Principal's speech leaving a message that we all should respect the helpers because without them our society cannot exist.
