TEACHERS' DAY CELEBRATION
"A teacher takes a hand, opens the mind and touches the heart."
On the auspicious occasion of Teachers' Day, a special assembly was organised by the teachers of St. Xavier's High School,Deoghar.
The assembly began with morning prayer and shloka followed by lighting of the lamp to honour the great soul, the great teacher, the great leader, the second President of our country, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. All the teachers offered flowers to show their regard towards this great teacher.
Many special features were added in the assembly by both the primary and senior teachers.
The members of the students' council then presented a beautiful hand made card and rose buds to all the teachers of the school to show their love and respect for their teachers.
The Principal, Dr. N. Santhosh Kumar, then shared a few words with the students emphasizing the importance of teachers in our life.The programme was concluded with the rendition of the National Anthem.
It was a grand assembly with lot of new ideas and experiences. it was an assembly that taught each one to respect teachers who can be in any form or creation of God.
Then the students of Class X acted as teachers and followed a particular routine which is, in general, followed by teachers. They successfully managed the entire school showing that they can also emerge out to be successful leaders of tomorrow.
