Students of St. Xavier's High School, Deoghar again added feathers to their caps bringing laurels to the school by grabbing the 1st Runners Up position at INXTACO 2018.
The meet was organized at St. Xaviers Jajpur on 22nd and 23rd Dec. in which more than 60 schools of the group participated and St. Xavier's Deoghar became the 2nd overall champions.
There were various other prizes which the students won-
1st position in Group Song
2nd position in Story Telling Competition
3rd position in Xaviers Got Talent
3rd position in Live Band
The students were felicitated at the assembly and the Principal Dr. N. Santhosh Kumar congratulated the team and the teachers for their effort and dedication.

    BAL MELA '18


    St. Xavier’s High School, Deoghar organized BAL MELA, “A Learning by Doing Event” on 8th of December’18 with great pomp and show. The event was based on the theme of “Multiple Intelligence. Mr. Vikash Chandra Srivastava, SDPO, Deoghar district, was the chief guest who inaugurated the show.

    Children had brought forward a unique blend of artistic features in this Bal Mela. They had exhibited excellent working models from Science, Social Science, Computer, Mathematics, Physical Education, etc.

    In English, Hindi and Sanskrit too, children came up with brilliant ideas. Haunted House was the main attraction.

    There was a counter of Art & Craft where the students of Classes 1 to 10 had exhibited their art.

    Arts and Commerce students of Class XI also came up with excellent models and projects related to their studies.

    Younger children were beautifully dressed in the form of cartoon characters, fairies, animals, mummies, spiderman, etc. Another attraction was the map of India which had its various landforms brilliantly presented.

    Parents and children enjoyed the delicious food from the food counter. There was fun, there was laughter, there was learning in this event.

    The Secretary, Shri Sanjeet Ray, was also present and appreciated the efforts of the young talents.

    The Principal, Dr. N. Santhosh Kumar, congratulated the teachers under whose able guidance the children could come up with such innovative ideas.  

    Altogether it was a grand success.
