Co- Curricular Activities

The extent of a child’s learning needs to be comprehensive.
It is very important to offer a rich selection of co-curricular activities to students of all ages. We focus on a curriculum in which creativity, innovativeness, and development of the whole being mark the growth of learners in addition to learning in cognitive domain. Development of co-scholastic aspects of the personality such as life skills, attitudes and values, participation and achievement in co-curricular activities as well as health and physical education are the essential needs of the day.

It is only through exposure to several activities that a child becomes aware of his/her special interests and talents. This in turn allows a child to receive appreciation and acclaim and to grow with confidence. This confidence then gets reflected in other areas leading to all round growth and progress. The entire school community is divided into four houses namely, Chenab, Ganga, Narmada and Yamuna. Each house has a House Master/Mistress and tutors to guide the students and to foster a spirit of leadership, co-operation, mutual understanding, tolerance and self-reliance among them. Students participate in various Inter House Competitions as well as the competition organized by various other reputed institutions. Such activities not only help to tap the talents of the children but also to widen the horizon of the Xaverians in every field.

The school has a well-developed curriculum to hone various innate skills within the students. The vast range of skill based activities are as follows:-
