The first thing a parent is most concerned is the wellness of their ward(s). On the one hand St. Xavier’s High School has an added advantage that it is situated in a pollution free atmosphere with variety of trees and plants providing fresh air and on the other the school is also committed towards students’ health care.
The school infirmary is staffed with a fulltime qualified nurse and is supported by a physician on call. The school nurse is responsible for the routine care of minor injuries or illness. She assists the school authorities in making decisions on whether an unwell student should remain in school or go back home for further medical support.
The infirmary is well-stocked with medical equipments and emergency medicines. Moreover, first-aid training is also imparted to the students right from the primary classes.
